Thanks to those of you who were able to attend our last class before the break to welcome our guest, author John Daniel, who blended into our class almost effortlessly. John has expressed his willingness to answer any follow-up questions on speaker phone. As the author of a forthcoming book of essays entitled The Far Corner, we might notice that's exactly where he chose to stand for this photograph—in the far corner. He killed a deer on our recent trip to Montana, a doe, his first. I also appreciate your coming to our last class prepared with your homemade books for him to sign.
