Gary Ferguson, author of Decade of the Wolf: Returning the Wild to Yellowstone, will spend a week with us this November. We have a chance to read his book (free on check-out from Lewiston Public and Asotin County libraries but note that the college library does not participate) and to meet him in person, both in formal and informal settings. Here are the major events on his schedule:
Sunday, Nov 11
Private author reception at Dahmen Barn, Uniontown, WA. We can probably go to this but there will be drinking, librarians, food, and people married to librarians present along with Gary.
Mon Nov 10
Book signing at Klings in Lewiston.
7:00 p.m. Lewiston High School, Lewiston ID
Tues Nov 11
Fishing for Steelhead with Jim Hepworth and Tim Johnson. Our class will not meet this day in the classroom, and I probably won't be meeting with you at all.
Wed Nov 12
Daytime: Clarkston High School.
7:00 p.m. Presentation at P-Nee-Waus Gym in Lapwai, ID, in conjunction with the Wolf Education & Research Center.
Thurs Nov 13
9:20-11:00 a.m. Moscow Junior High School: Presentation: "The Writer's Life."
7:00 p.m. Janssen Engineering Building, Room 104, U of I. If you live in Moscow, you can probably arrange to go to this event rather coming to our class.
Fri Nov 14
9:00 a.m. Colfax High School Auditorium
7:00 p.m. "A Conversation with Gary Ferguson."
